Please Note: Lake Cle Elum is the largest of four irrigation storage reservoirs in the Yakima Basin and water levels vary significantly during the summer as water is drawn to provide irrigation for the lower valleys. The lake never goes away or dries up. Boats and watercrafts are able to access it year round however you might have to be creative in getting to the lake with a four wheel drive vehicle during late July and August.

Loved our time at this spacious cabin in the woods overlooking lake cle Elum. House was great and accommodated our party perfectly. All the amenities we needed. Didn’t realize the hike up & down the rocks to get to the water but ended up being our daily exercise and adventure ;-)))). Loved the people watching too from our deck. Owners were very responsive as well.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake house with our adult children and grandchildren. The game room was great fun for everyone and the house was beautiful with a gorgeous view. It was a bit of a walk to actually get to the lake, but we did make it across the rocks one day for a little paddle boarding fun. We would definitely stay here again, it was well appointed, clean and lovely.

Great spot for a family vacation. There were 10 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular views of Cle Elum!Kitchen was well equipped and had large preparation spaces. Water level at the lake. Trees were wonderful for hammocks. Would love to come again.Speelyi Beach is nearby for swimming.Vacasa Communication was great.

This house is in an amazing location, steps away from the lake with a fire pit along the shore. The lake level was down so we got to walk along the shore which was nice. The game room is a fun addition. Ipen floor plan provides lots of opportunities for everyone to hang out together. It had the best stocked kitchen as far as utensils and appliances I have ever stayed in. Overall we had a great time and would definitely return, especially in the summer!

Amazing property! The house worked perfectly for our family's Christmas vacation. We would rent this again for sure! The only issue was the oven. It kept shutting off (property management responded immediately), and the burners were slow to cook, yet we made it work.

We visited Lakeside in the winter and much appreciated there was something to do for everyone's taste. The location allowed for beautiful walks in the snow, but, equally, we could stay comfortably inside. The property was well furnished and the property managers provided clear instructions and stayed in contact throughout the stay.

A group of 8 of us (7 adults and one infant) stayed to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The house was even better than advertised. We were blown away by the scenic views and amenities. The master bath was probably my favorite part, with the heated floors, spacious double shower heads, and huge jacuzzi tub with a beautiful window view. The location was great, so close to Suncadia. It was the perfect place to stay for our group and we hope to visit again.

The whole experience at this house was amazing. Property was exactly as described. View is incredible. House was extremely clean. We had everything we needed for cooking, bedding was exceptional, and there was plenty of everything. We hope to be back!

Multi-Generation Lakeside Fun

We had three generations comfortably stay for a week in August. Older generation enjoyed the views of the lake while relaxing on the deck. The big excitement was watching the fire planes fly into the lake to collect water. The rest of us enjoyed the view and playing in the lake. The kitchen is well stocked and includes an extra smaller fridge which we used for drinks. Having the master on the main level was a necessity for us as my elderly parents are unable to navigate stairs safely. The ramp leading up to the house is also a bonus. The house is very close to Roslyn, we went into town a few times and enjoyed lunch at The Brick. Another day the kids and adults played golf on the three hole practice course at nearby Suncadia. This was our second stay at the house and we will for sure return for a third!

Private, peaceful, with amazing views of the lake. Immaculately clean with no orders. Private beach was perfect for launching kayaks and swimming. Low water levels would make it challenging to gel over rocks. Five stars overall.

wonderful views, well stocked kitchen for making a feast, lovely lake. a few odd things (one bed was basically inaccessible, we had some guests sleep on couches) (also an odd layout including a dangerous stairwell hole with no railing on one side) (also no doors in the master suite? so like your spouse better be comfortable hearing your entire bathroom routine) and some creativity was required to, e.g. seat everyone at one table... but overall, my 10-person wedding went perfectly and could not have been in a more beautiful setting. pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was--making several complicated dishes from scratch was a cinch. highly recommend for a family gathering and anything where a picturesque background would make your trip.

The sweeping views of the lake and mountains were breathtaking! Our family enjoyed some board games which were in the house, there was lot of cooking - the kitchen is fully stocked and grill was convenient to use. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and we spent an evening lighting a fire in the fire pit below the house, with mountains shining in the moonlight. Note that we did not eat out so cannot comment on nearby restaurants.

We had booked the cabin to celebrate our parents anniversary which involved 11 adults and 3 kids. The cabin was large enough to accommodate all of us and the adults and kids could enjoy their time thanks to 2 separate living rooms. We had hiccups unrelated to the property the day we arrived (winter storm hit the area and didn't have power and running water until the next day) but had a great time. We hope to come back during the summer.

The house was fantastic with plenty of space for everyone! Very quiet and great stargazing at night. There was a storm with 70 mph wind gusts one day that knocked out the power. It turned out to be a fun adventure and the kids loved it. One item I would recommend is the property owner have 5-10 gallons of bottled water stored at the property in the event of power outages. We did not realize the property was on a well and that we would run out of water until the water pressure dropped drastically and shortly after that stopped flowing completely.

My Husband and our two kids have traveled with our friends and their two little ones for years now and this was by far the most enjoyable property we've ever stayed. We had a great family vacation here. The low level of the lake was disappointing as we hoped the kids would spend more time lakeside- but the hike down was difficult for some. Some reviews wrote about some missing items in the kitchen- we found everything we needed and MORE. As foodies with 5 kids, all of our needs were met. What isn’t highlighted in the photos are the two recently renovated bathrooms. I LIVED in the master bath- spa like feel with jetted soaker tub(with a view) and a wonderful double shower head (plus rain heads!) shower with river rock on the floor. Heated tile! I didn’t even use the hot tub- the jetted tub with a bath bomb was much more luxurious!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable quiet and clean. There was ample seating inside and out for a family of 10. The family enjoyed the air hockey and ping pong although there isn't an arcade game that is showed in the pictures. You'll want to bring your own Ziplock bags or soil for leftovers. We didn't try the hot tub or barbecue but maybe next time we really enjoyed the lake as well.

Very lovely and comfortable accommodations. The home was very clean and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The views were fantastic! And the service from Derek and Calli from the time we booked this property until we left was the best we have ever experienced, and we have been renting properties for the last 7 years. We had a total of 13 guests
(Plus our dog) stay at this beautiful home over 4th of July weekend for family festivities. The home was gorgeous, ample room, clean and a wonderful layout for our needs. The deck, grill, fire pit, lake access and open concept living space were my particular highlights. Everything was cleaned and well-stocked, as expected. The open-communication with host was apredicated, although we didn't need to contact them since they provided ample pre-check in expectations and information. Beautiful layout and all the essentials were provided. I would highly recommend this space for a family getaway on a beautiful lake setting.

We spent a long family weekend - had an awesome time. The property is perfectly located - right next to the lake (awesome views from three bedrooms and the living room), accessible by road and nearby towns. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped, clean and modern. The high point was the sit out, lake views, and the fact that you could actually climb the stairs to a private sit out near the lakeside. We clambered over the rocks to skip stones on the lake - though that is not straightforward as one has to clamber over the rocks and pebbles. Another high point was the hot tub - adequate for our party of five. We also spent some time in the separate games room (converted garage) - where you could do foosball, ping pong or air hockey.
The property management team was always accessible and responsive.

We had a lovely three generation vacation at Lakeside. We ranged in ages from 2-75. We had enough room to all be together or to be separate. The view from the deck was wonderful. We cooked or barbecued every night and after a little searching found all the utensils we needed. We would happily recommend Lakeside to anyone.
The management company answered a couple of questions we had right away and all in all we had a terrific time.

We loved our family vacation at this lakefront home! The views of the lake and surrounding tree-covered hills are spectacular, and the partially covered deck provided an ideal place to spend family time together. The house itself is a bit dated, but key areas, like the master bedroom and kitchen, have been updated, and everything was clean and comfortable. The house was nice, but not what I would call “luxurious,” except for the view of the lake, which was definitely the highlight.

Some other reviews have pointed out that the noise from people upstairs is very loud in the downstairs bedrooms, and that’s definitely true. However everyone in our group slept well all week even though the sound traveled more than it does in most two story houses. The game room was fun, the small fenced area was great for our small dog, and the lake access was convenient for refreshing dips in the water—even with the water level much lower than usual for mid-July. The house was clean, but not perfectly spotless. The hot tub and BBQ (which is top of the line) both needed some attention from the management company while we were there, but they were responsive and helpful. All minor issues and questions were resolved very quickly. We would stay here again and have already recommend it to our friends.

Big, beautiful home with stunning views from almost every space. Great for groups that like to be together as this is an open concept home. We came for a week in early April. No snow around the house, but 6 miles up the road we are in the mountains snowmobiling (first time for us and fantastic). Cons: Kitchen sink water pressure sucks, master bedroom sink drain was very slow. Surprised: Heated bathroom floors, nearby drive on the beach (next time plan to rent dune buggies)

We got together with friends and family here for a long weekend at the end of September and it was so dreamy. The backyard overlooking the lake is gorgeous - bring your hammocks to hang between the trees! :) The house is spacious and we had a great time hanging out by the fire on the back patio. Nice property. Enjoyed our stay. Just as advertised. Do be aware the water level is low in the summer. So a walk to the shoreline is a long steep rocky hike not suitable for people who aren’t really active. That’s really the only negative. Aside from that, everything was great.

My friends and I booked this property for a long weekend getaway from the dread of daily life in 2020. This was an excellent place to escape. The living spaces, outdoor areas, and kitchen were all large but felt very cozy. We loved the hot tub and fireplaces. The bedrooms were all well kept and clean. We called the office for a minor maintenance inquiry to which they responded and sent someone out very quickly. The only "knock" we could have is that it was difficult to find little things like extra paper towels and various kitchen items. Not much to complain about. We would definitely come back. Thanks!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful house located on a bluff above Cle Elum Lake. The kitchen and great room on the main floor were perfect for our group. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the views. The kids (and adults) enjoyed pingpong and air hockey in the game room. Everyone enjoyed exploring the rocky waterfront of the lake.

Stayed first week of August 2018. In town for a wedding with 3 couples, 4 adult children. Great location, wonderful views of the lake. Easy access to hiking trails (north) and Ronald, Roslyn, and Suncadia (south). Boat rental nearby at Cascade Playtime, had a great time with jet skis and pontoon boat one day - quirky staff will cook you breakfast while they set up your rental. Drive up 903N to Salmon La Sac Trailhead parking for cliff jumping into Cooper River, or just have a swim and watch others jump - totally worth it. Mount Jolly hike lets you drive (AWD recommended) most of ascent to 3-hour easy to moderate hike with great views of Northern Cascades. Great restaurants, distillery, within 15 minutes.
As for the house itself, the common areas were top-notch. Clean, plenty of amenities, comfortable, great big deck with wind-screen if needed on cooler evenings. Plenty of space for everybody. Kitchen has everything you need including seasonings. Bedding, towels, shampoo, paper towels and toilet paper provided and abundant.
Bedrooms were comfortable, although a bit of a strange layout. One bedroom on lower floor has glass french doors without curtains (we draped a sheet across them) and has the bunk bed. You have to pass through that bedroom to access a bedroom with a queen and trundle bed. A good setup for a family with several kids, but not much privacy if adults using bunk bed.
The master bedroom is incredible, huge with great views. The other two bedrooms are comfortable and quiet.
There are only two showers, one within master bedroom (no door between bedroom and bathroom), requires some planning if everybody needs to shower to get out the door at the same time.
With wedding activities, we didn't get to try the game room, but looked great for rainy day or if you have younger kids along.
We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and so much room for all to be together or have alone time. Lawn, game room, beach, canoe, hot tub, bbq, deck with wind blocking panels, dog friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of the experience. We would also heartily recommend the Flying Horseshoe Ranch as a wonderful experience. The view of the lake and mountains was very serene despite the mist, rain, cold of early July :(

This place is truly amazing, a true Pacific Northwest gateway, the views are breathtaking, there was plenty of space for all of us and it was pretty much safe to have kids running around.We will definitely try to come back this summer.

My family met at Lakeside to spend some time together just after Christmas. We had 8 adults and 3 kids and never felt crowded. We loved playing in the snow and went to Suncadia to go inner tubing and cross country skiing as well as snowmobiling. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely consider coming back for another visit.

The views are amazing and the house is generally nice and comfortable. The heater in the garage (Gameroom) did not work nor did the fan on the stove. The fire alarm is also VERY sensitive so you need to remove it when cooking anything.

We were searching for a home to share with our family after a destination wedding in Leavenworth. Lakeside was simply perfect. Having a live conversation with Derrick about our criteria and options in the area was key to our choice and overall satisfaction. We have three grown sons with families, including a grandchild and a dog - so it was critical that we have common area for dining and games, yet private space for evenings. We spent the weekend celebrating my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The property was beautiful and my parents were in awe of the place and the view, we spent some great time on the deck and even though the water was very low due to the time of year/very hot summer, we still went down the beach for exploring and had a fun time. The house is nicely furnished, very comfortable and clean. I would absolutely stay there again. We didn't have any kids with us but they would love the place, too! The rental company was very easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions. Thank you!!

This property is beautifully described on the web site, but must really be seen to be appreciated. The driving instructions provided are incredibly accurate, and the assistance/support provided by Calli and Derek set the standard for any other rental I would hope to book. The house is fully furnished with "extras", from video game players and controllers to a Pack-n-Play and clip-together child fencing to controller the toddlers. The kitchen has every utensil and serving piece you would ever want, including toaster, microwave, blender, large fridge with an efficient ice maker, and a wonderful grill on the deck. There are live plants, not only on the deck, but in the house, provided a "homey" feel. We had six adults, four kids and four dogs and never felt cramped. The game room has ping pong, air hockey and a retro console video game console. Just an example of the attention to detail we found, all of the light switches are labeled to indicate what they control. I don't think you can find a nicer place to rent for your vacation.

We celebrated my boyfriend's 40th birthday here with a group of friends (some with kids) from out of town. It was the perfect spot for a group gathering, with plenty to do for everyone who wanted to be active, but also a nice place to just relax. The well-stocked kitchen, grill, and deck were also great for entertaining. The views are incredible, and the layout of the house makes it very easy to enjoy those views. One small thing to note of you plan on enjoying the lake...the beach is rocky and you have to climb up and down rocks to get all the way down there. This wasn't an issue for most people in our group, but it was difficult for the small kids.

Our son was married at a nearby venue. Since we are not from the area, we rented the home for family to stay at and for the reherrsal dinner. It is a beautiful home with spactactuar views of the lake. It was the perfect setting for a large dinner party with plenty of room, well appointed accomodations and a relaxed atmosphere. We have a walking group of 7 women plus 2 dogs that do an annual getaway weekend annually. This property was wonderful-great hikes close by, Roslyn and the Farmer's Market were fun and we had a relaxing afternoon at the Swiftwater Winery. We had activities in the morning and spent lazy afternoons visiting, playing cards and having wine on the deck. The large dining room table had room for all of us. The enclosed deck was great for the dogs-they could be outside with us and see everything without us worrying that they might run off. The whole area is very dog-friendly. It was perfect for us.

Our week at Rusch Waterfront was our annual family gathering. We enjoy going to lakes in the western washington area. The only disappointment about our time on Lake Cle Elum was not in the control of the management. The lake was very low which made it very difficult to access the water, and the fact of the wild fires in the Cascades had a total burn ban in place. Otherwise the house itself was great for our family.

Our family of 12 relatives stayed at this waterfront home for 7 delightful days. The beds were super comfortable and everyone commented on how well they slept. On a vacation, sleeping is important! We absolutely loved to cook in the oversized kitchen--we ate all of our meals together. My son caught a trout in the lake in front of the house, and we cooked it on the grill on the front deck. Delicious, and he was so thrilled! The view was so drop dead gorgeous that we did not have to stray far to keep ourselves entertained. We brought plenty of games and played them day and night while gazing at the mountains and water. Just an all around restful vacation, to recharge our batteries and make us grateful to have found such a perfect spot! Obviously, we recommend this place highly!

Our group consisted of 7 men and it was a 40th birthday celebration. The house was very clean, communication in advance was very clear and additional information binder present when we arrived.
I was 'hostess' for the long weekend and found the kitchen to be well stocked with necessary items such as glassware, plates, bowls, cutlery etc; I do suggest to bring your own knives and they do not have champagne flutes.

The property management team was great to work with, very responsive to emails and even took care of shipping some items I left behind.

Would definitely recommend!^_^

Stayed here for a 40th birthday celebration + 4th of July and had a great time! House is beautiful and accommodated 9 adults and two dogs comfortably.

Additional friends (with children) stayed in a different rental down the street, walking distance away. House was big enough to entertain all of us (13 adults + 4 kids) when we were together for group meals.

Great big kitchen and deck for entertaining and open floor plan so everyone could be together. Big yard for outdoor games/entertainment.

Only bummer was the burn ban, which prevented us from enjoying the fire pit.

The views are spectacular and the lake is pristine!

WiFi worked great once we got the correct password from management, who responded quickly (wrong password was listed in the book).

We rented the house for a family wedding in the area and could not have been happier. The unit was clean and spacious with plenty of room for a big family dinner on Sunday night. Rusch Waterfront Roost was a wonderful experience. The house it situated forward on the lot so when you look across the lake, you don't see any houses. While there is one house that is close, the setting is very peaceful. The firepit offers yet another way to enjoy the lake and beautiful scenery. The interior of the house was spacious and clean. Everything was in good condition and in working order. We thouroughly enjoyed this property and plan on returning.

Home is perfect for a group. Large kitchen living & dining area. House was very reasonably priced and was fully stocked. Management company did a fantastic job with instructions for appliance use and behavior expected of the guests.

The kitchen was really well stocked and a coffee grinder magically appeared so someone must read the reviews which is why I'm leaving one.

Home is located on a dead end road just a few minutes from Roslyn and Cle Elum and made for an excellent base camp for our hiking trips and visiting friends in the area. Be sure to check out the Roslyn brewery and also the Roslyn movie theater in town. Wonderful people run these establishments and very unique.

We did not use the downstairs area much only for sleeping but there is an additional large living room as well if you have a large group and want additional privacy. The house allows pets and the place is perfectly set up for them. After a couple days here we discovered a very cleverly designed pet area on the unused side of the house that is well shaded. Absolutely clean as a whistle and you would never know that pets have ever been here.

There is a stairway leading to a flat beach area with fire ring which you will not find anywhere else on the lake.

I would not hesitate to book this place it is really inexpensive and you will not be disappointed.

House was comfortable and clean. Kitchen could have used some better and more cooking gear. No coffee grinder in the house, for example.

Tons of snow while we were there, and WSDOT ended up closing the pass for an extended period of time, including the morning and afternoon of our departure date. Prop manager was great and flexible with our checkout time, as we had nowhere to go until pass was reopened.

We had a great stay with 14 adults and 2 pups and the place was a perfect fit for our winter getaway.
My only 2 suggestions for the house would be a door or curtain on the master bath as certain things became awkward, and a run to the thrift store to better equip the kitchen. The knives were dangerously dull.
Also some wintertime essentials would have been helpful (salt,a shovel, and maybe a bellows).
Other than that, the house and indeed the whole experience was amazing. I would absolutely recommend!

My family had a great time spending the long holiday weekend at this home. It was great for a large group of people and provided a huge area for us to all hang out together.

The house was clean, beds were comfortable and the fireplace cozy.

What else can your small wedding have other than an incredible place such as this to get married? An amazing wedding crew! Getting "Ringed @ the Roost" couldn't have turned out better. We had the right amount of room for Man of Honor Mike & Matrons of Honor Sue, Char & Laurie to craft the perfect meals around the whole 4 day wedding celebration! My best cowboy Tom even did some cook'n! Having the 2 ovens made baking easy. The front entrance was a perfect arena for wedding guests with all the plants, flowers & trees and for the Hawaiian theme ~ we added tiki torches to the landscape. The area in front of the house had plenty of room for vehicle parking. The lake in the background was the prettiest backdrop for wedding photos. The family sized dining area made for some fun Texas Hold'Um poker games. The little Bose unit allowed us to play some great music while visiting & laughing. The gated deck kept the Ring Bearer's Boris & Izzy w/ guest Desi from running all over the place. The covered deck kept us out the the weather with plenty of room to comfortably hang out. The master bathroom's size accommodated us ladies getting ready. The downstairs gave John & his Best Man Chris & Groomsmen Tom, Doug & Ron room to hang. The living room had plenty of comfortable seating for watching the Seahawks win the day after our wedding. The master bathtub even accommodated 6'8" John relaxing the day after his I do's. Friends & family all agree getting Ringed @ the Roost was just perfect & beautiful! And, this happily married couple will not only go back again, but will recommend this rental to anyone who asks. Very spacious, well kept, beautiful home away from home. Kitchen and patio was great for our large family reunion. Only wish we have is that lake was very difficult to get to, covered with so many rocks. The photo of property from Internet did not real this. Our kids had hard time walking down to the water so we hardly played there. This place would have received 5 stars if it had an updated 2nd bathroom and another shower.

When you walk into the front door, the lake views blow you away. We had ten adults in our party and there was plenty room. Getting to the water from the back stairs was a bit hazardous and nothing you would not want to attempt with kids, but the beach is a two minute drive and just great. This was a very positive rental experience and I would rent this house and from this agency again. It was wonderful.

We had a fabulous time, the local bars were fun and overall just had a relaxing time. We went for a hike, went fishing, rented kanoes and enjoyed a peaceful weekend. I have already recommended your cabin to a few friends that are looking for a place to stay. It was a very happy 28th birthday for me!!

Our extended family thoroughly enjoyed the lakefront home, views from almost every room and a fabulous deck for enjoying the sunset. We loved the dog friendly dog run. The house could have used additional shower/bath facilities. Loved the oversized kitchen for group cooking. It turned out to be too steep to easily launch kayaks from the property, but there was a boat launch a short drive away. A great getaway for a large group with outdoor activities on the agenda!

We were more than satisified with our stay at this lovely propery on the lake. The cabin was spectacular, very spacious, cozy, the outdoor deck gave us a lot of sunshine and a walk down the stairs to the lake was stunning. We saw a beautiful rainbow on
the other side of the lake in the morning through all the hugh windows in the livingroom, the hot tub was perfect for relaxing, lots of games for the teenagers and a lot of room in the house to move around in. We took walks down the streets and saw some beautiful
horses and there was a passage right to the beach!
